I used to work for my father. So, I didn't really have to work. I guess he was right. Now I have really been working my arse off. And to everyone's shock, I have been enjoying it too. So, the key is to get the right job. The job that you enjoy. The job that you like. The job that you have passions for. I like mine. And I tend to keep it for as long as I can. :D
Ok, now something I've just learned. Long story, but my friend Aime has managed to smash her mobile and lose her SIM card. She couldn't find it that night and we thought it's gone for good. But then, the next day, one of our friends tried to call that number. And apparently, a Thai guy answered. She couldn't communicate with the guy. So, she called Aime and let her know. When I knew, I called that guy right away. He was being really helpful though. We were just trying to meet up so we could get the SIM card back. But I had no idea where his work was. Sounded familiar but I couldn't quite recall.
So, right, trusted him completely so he told me he would call me after work to arrange a meet. I spoke to him again that afternoon. He still answered my call. So, still trusted him completely.
At Lee's BDay Party

After work, I managed to meet up with Aime as we wanted to meet this guy together. And she was still very upset and I thougth she could use some company. Guess what, now, I tried to call again. And he switched the mobile off. We were speechless, but thought maybe he'd switch it on when he was finished at work (one hour after me). We had dinner in the meantime and chatted. Tried to call all the time. But nope. It's off.
We went home after that and I told her I would try again the next day - which was today. I did.
I called that guy again - ON MY FRIEND'S NUMBER - he saw my number and switched it off again. Now off all afternoon. I then texted him as Aime suggested that we only want the contact numbers stored in the SIM card. And that if he wanted to keep it, then just keep it. Give us the contact numbers.
While I was travelling home this evening. I called again. The line was engaged. I kept trying anyway. And then, it's off again.
We can't figure it out. Why the fcuk would he want her SIM card? There are lots of important contact numbers in there. And they don't mean shite to him. They do to her! And just a bloody SIM card, for God's sake. It costs only a few hundred THB these days. And he should know that I KNOW someone is using it and I will keep calling for ever anyway. Such hassle and headache for just a bloody SIM card?!? What the fffff...!!!
Moral of the story: First of all, never ever believe when anyone says he will return your SIM card. He won't. And second, back up your contact phone numbers somewhere else - whether or not you are into mobile smashing.
