It's been a few crazy days...
Thursday was St. Paddy's. With all spirit, I had planned to go out with my friends after work. I had painted my nails in green. I had applied not-too-green-but-still green eye shadow. I had prepared to change to green top after work. It was going to be fun!
Once my male boss saw my nails, he was speechless for a few seconds. I told him it's St. Patrick's!! Anyway, my nails were ugly anyway. Green nails, for God's sake. :D
When my female boss got to the office, my male boss showed her my nails. And again, I told her it's St. Paddy's. We had a laugh. This's cool. I was so looking forward to the evening.
Rose, Aime and me

I managed to meet up with my friends - Aime (and her friends) and Rose at the Irish XChange. The Celtic Colours was playing there that night. We had a great time. The pub was packed. Good for them. It's so nice to see the Celtic Colours there again. I love them. They're so much fun and are really good.
Tets

We spent a couple of hours there and decided to go to the Dubliner to see Lee Shamrock. Lee had told me before that it would be totally packed there. No one would be able to move. That'd be an interesting sight to see! So, we went there.
XChange

It was really THAT packed. I couldn't believe my eyes. We got in the back of the pub and couldn't move at all. We actually had to get out of the pub and walk to the front door instead. When we got in, we just couldn't go any further. We had to stand next to Lee. Holy crap. You wouldn't believe it. But the crowd here was more fun than the Irish XChange's. Madder. More pissed. More fun.
Dubliner

They played a little bit with Lee's face. I'm not sure which one was scarier.
Lee - Before

Lee - After

We spent quite some time there and went home at reasonable hours. At least, I was going to work the next day.
Friday; I made a fool out of myself at work again. Sooner or later, bosses will wonder if they've made the wrong decision about hiring me. :D
The female boss asked me to get some cash ready as she had to buy some stuff for Monday. "One thousand and five hundred." I was.. right. Ok. Then, a few minutes passed, I walked over to her desk and told her that I didn't have enough cash. "I had only nine thousand and seven hundred."
She looked confused and told me she only wanted "one thousand and five hundred". And I was like... "OH FCUK! I thought ten!!!" Of course I didn't say that. But from the expression on my face, she made a funny face and "DAAA!!!". And we laughed. Such humiliation. I should stop making them laugh for a while now. I've done it too often lately. Ohh.. sillly silly girl.
Later that afternoon, I spoke to Lee as I wasn't sure if he was working that night. And he told me a bad news. His bad news. Some bastard broke into his room after St. Paddy's gig and stole his just-earned money. Lessons learned. There's something I really like in Lee. He always tries to remain positive. It's not easy to piss him off. He was shocked before by my weird sense of humour when we first met. But he didn't really get offended. This time was the same. He actually got over it and moved on. While I'm still a bit upset and sad about it.
So, anyway, even though I was quite tired from work, I went down to the pub to support him anyway. I met Mia from the Celtic Colours there. So, I spent the whole night there while I would have to get up early for an appointment about work on Saturday.
Mia - Lee

Cool. I had a hangover so I was late. And also had difficulties about work too. Solved them anyway. But felt a bit cranky. Nope. That's not enough yet. I planned to go out with my friends in the evening. And I did.
I thought I would go home early as I was dead tired and I had to go help people from work at a function on Sunday. But nope. My friends were really bad and the place was really good. So, again, I spent the whole night out with them.
Woke up today with a real terrible headache. Call it a hangover if you like! But work was calling. So, I went to the function feeling totally like shite. The function was interesting. I was cranky all day but managed to put a smile on my face most of the time. I yawned sometimes, but well, at least, I gave everyone a big smile all day.
As I worked over the weekend, I asked my boss this evening if I could take a day off next week. To his horror, he told me I was allowed to take any day off some time next week EXCEPT Monday as we'll have loads to do at work. I assured him I was going to work on Monday. And it's actually Friday I was thinking of. I have my own reasons. One of the best mates of mine is flying in from Melbourne!!!! She's coming back for a visit. I've missed her so much I just came up with this brilliant idea when I knew I was working over the weekend. So, there you go. I will be off on Friday and I'm going to pick her up at the airport! Woohoo!!!!
The long day is now over and I am home. Sure as hell I am going to make an early night. I'm going to just eat and go to sleep. Another long week is coming up.
