It's time

It's time to pack now..

We just found out yesterday evening that something was wrong with his ticket. And instead of leaving the country on the 28th, he has to leave..... tonight.

It's quite a bit of a shock, really.

So... I'm taking this afternoon off work to spend our last day together... well, for this trip anyway.

What a trip

It feels good to be alive.

Last week, The B@stard and I went to Hua Hin for four days. We stayed at Anantasila. We got a Suite there. Very very very nice place. Our temporary little house was very lovely. We also had a very nice Valentine's.

The Hua Hin trip was a great adventure. The B@stard talked me into going on the bloody jetski with him. And I believed him. What a mistake!

He went as fast as he could. And jumped as often as possible. And tried to throw me off the bloody jetski a zillion times. He finally did succeed. But I got him into the water with me too. The next two days, my whole body was in agony from 30 minutes on the jetski. Unreal.

On our way back to Bangkok from Hua Hin, we stopped at the Elephant Village. For some reason, The B@stard has a thing for elephants. He, again, talked me into going on a one-hour elephant ride. I was scared shitless.. again. But that was quite good fun. Although I was terrified the whole time.

Back behind the wheel, my car wasn't in a very good state. The brake system was having serious problem. But we couldn't get anything fixed. So, I had to try to get us back to Bangkok first. There was no God. I crashed the car.

That was really scary. If The B@stard was one nano second slower, we both would probably be under the truck. He saved our lives.

The whole thing scared the bejasus out of me. I used to have a few car accidents before. But nothing was as close to injury like this one. And it's not just my life. It's his life too.

Anyway, looking at the accident itself, I wasn't totally in the wrong. So, the truck's insurance company will pay for everything.

After Hua Hin, we went to Pattaya for the weekend. There's one terrible Pattaya resident that we know. He's the worst influence you could ever think of. We had a nice time hanging out with him though. A funny fat b@stard from England. :D

Now, we are back in Bangkok. I am back to work. No more days off.

Oh well, such is life.

Life is good, baby

So, now The B@stard is in the country...

We've been busy with travelling, going to the pubs, and..... going to the pubs.

Just a few days after landing, we went to visit our friends in Surin. Another friend and his missus, who are based in Kalasin, also stopped in Surin for a couple of days on their way to Bangkok to meet up with us. We all had a great time. One of the friends in Surin owns this nice local pub, Farang Connection. We call him "Khun Fat Git". Very very funny and friendly old lad. :D

Another friend who is based in Surin is Yorky The Long Fella. No need to guess where he's originally from, I suppose. He's about 3 metres long. And a real pisshead. But no matter how much of a pisshead he is, he at one stage did admit that drinking with all the 30-somethings for six days in a row made him feel shite and old.

Just about time you admitted you're old, my friend. :D

There was then someone wet the bed. But that's before The B@stard and I arrived. But no worries... the incident had been told over and over. :D

We were there for only four days. The B@stard managed to get himself burnt on day Two. He was lobster red the next day.. and the day after.. and the day after.. and the day after..

It's been a week now. He's getting better. He's been peeling his face, arms, shoulders the past three days. Looks like he's a bit enjoying it though. But still looks burnt. People tend to comment on his current colours everytime we go down the pub.

Now, we are in Bangkok. We are going to
Hua Hin for a few days next week. That should be nice. I've got the Sun Block lotion for his body and his face. SPF 50. That's the best I could find that day. So.. I'll make sure he's not getting himself cooked again.

All is very well. We are happy together. My Thai friend, Dosey Rosey, is also happy for us. Some certain people might give us funny reactions. But never mind. We are happy. We are in love. And we are real. That's what matters.

Whoever has a problem with whatever can always come kiss my arse.
