It's been raining quite a lot for October here in Bangkok. Too odd.
Anyway, Mark was in Bangkok last night and so we went out.
At first, he wanted to meet me at the Bangkok Marriott Riverside. But I wanted to go to that bar at the Millennium Hilton, so off we went.
I took the skytrain down to Taksin Bridge, and took Hilton Shuttle Boat. The boat was somehow shaking a little bit. Being a city person that I am, that was a bit scary to me.
Before we hit the bar on top floor, we had dinner at Flow first. Decorations were not Mark's style. He said it looked more like a shopping mall in Europe.
After dinner, we made our way to the top floor - ThreeSixty.
When I walked in there, I didn't look too far from where I was putting my feet as it was a bit dark. Once we were shown the area to sit, Mark chose the table, and I looked up.
Holy cow!!!
The view was spectacular. We sat by the window to enjoy the view. Nice Jazz music also. Very nice and romantic. All the staff were polite and treated us very well. No attitude for a change.
I don't know if they would give us "the look" if we checked in together though.
